🔧 Application

Murexin Voorstrijk D1 is specially developed for the pretreatment of absorbent mineral substrates on walls and floors. This includes cement screeds, concrete, or cement-bound leveling mortar. The primer prevents the substrate from absorbing too much moisture, which prevents problems with tile adhesive or leveling.

For anhydrite screeds, it is important to apply Murexin Voorstrijk D1 only under vapor-permeable floor coverings, so that any moisture can evaporate. Thanks to its high adhesive strength and dust-binding effect, this primer creates a stable base for any tiling or leveling job.

This product also performs excellently with underfloor heating: it distributes heat evenly and ensures optimal heat transfer. In addition, the primer is resistant to rolling loads, making it perfectly suitable for areas such as offices and living rooms.

🧰 Processing

For optimal results, the substrate must be dry, clean, load-bearing, and free of dust, grease, or old adhesive residues. Remove loose parts or sintered layers by sanding, grinding, or milling.

Apply Murexin Voorstrijk D1 evenly with a short-haired roller, block brush, or brush. Avoid puddle formation and allow the primer to dry completely before applying tile adhesive or leveling compound. If in doubt, a test area can be applied to assess the absorbency of the substrate.

Not suitable for non-absorbent substrates such as wood, metal, plastic, or water-repellent materials.
